What You Need to Know Prior to Youth Program Enrollment for Fall 2020
  • Priority registration will be given to guardians that are deemed essential workers.
  • Programs will be conducted in groups of 12 children and they will be kept separated at all times. No rotations and no requests for group transfers will be allowed.
  • Program Sessions will be 3 weeks long. This is a long time for some kids. Please do not register for our program if you do not feel that your child can handle a program of this length.
  • Parents, guardians and non-essential visitors will not be allowed to enter program sites.
  • The Ranch would like children to wear masks when indoors and in other programming as much as possible. Children must bring their own labeled mask with them to camp, even if it is not required that they wear one at all times. Children the age of 12 years or older must wear a mask at all times.
  • Each group will have the same staff for all three weeks.
  • We will not be able to accept out of state particpants at this time. Efforts to have particpants from local areas is of utmost priority.
  • We cannot accept children that have traveled domestically or internationally within 14 days to the start of any program.
  • We cannot accept children if within 14 days of their arrival they have had a fever over 100.4F, cough, shortness of breath, diarrhea, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, nausea, loss of taste or smell, sore throat, vomiting or any other indication of the COVID-19 virus.
  • We cannot accept a child that has been in close contact with a person who has been diagnosed, tested or quarantined due to a result of COVID-19.
  • Campers are not allowed to participate in any other programs while enrolled in a program with The Ranch.
  • Youth Program cancellations will be processed less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations must be requested at least 2 weeks (14 days) prior to the start date of your program session. NO REFUNDS will be given for cancellations made with less than 2 weeks' notice.
  • Prorated refunds will only be offered if a child or family member is ill and unable to return to camp with proof of a doctor's note. With such limited spaces available, we want each enrollment to be taken seriously and with the understanding that our funds are tight and we will not be able to offer refunds if participants drop out for any other reason.
  • You must be willing to allow The Ranch staff to take temperature checks upon arrival and throughout the day. The Ranch staff are not doctors and nurses, but we will follow CDC and MHHS protocols for testing and logging test results.
  • Participant information may be released to MHHS for contract casing investigations if there is a case of COVID-19 within the program.
  • Children that are considered high risk should seriously consider participating in a program before registering. Consulting your doctor before registering a high risk participant is recommended. High Risk participants are those with a chronic lung disease, asthma, heart conditions, immunocompromised, obese, diabetic, or any form of liver or kidney disease.
  • We cannot guarantee that staff or particpants will not contract or not be exposed to the COVID-19 virus.
